Fall Recipe Round Up

When I think of cozy and satisfying fall dishes I think of the aroma of baked apples and cinnamon to name a few. This is the time of year that I crave heartier dishes to warm the soul. As you know I have a sweet tooth, and I’ve include some of my favorite sweets, too.

There’s nothing quite like waking up to the aroma of muffing baking in the oven. Click here for my gluten free glorious morning muffins

Fall is football weather and my game day muffuletta is a crowd pleaser. It easily serves a crowd because it is made on French bread that slices easily. Make them the day ahead and refrigerate or freeze them up to a week. Simply thaw on game day, heat and serve.

The cooler weather means you’ll find me near the outdoor fireplace snacking with friends. There’s probably a lovely bottle of wine or cocktails involved. My recipes for chicken liver pate with pickled red onions are a couple of my fireplace favorites.

Squash in all shapes and sizes are a farmers' market treasure. I use these bowl-like vessels to create a clean-out-the-fridge stuffing. Basically, this no-recipe dish involves taking what you have on hand to create the stuffing. It's a great way to create a dish with farmers market finds and repurpose leftovers.

It wouldn't be fall without roasting my almond marshmallows in the fire. We enjoy these toasted and squished into s’mores.

Classic cheese cake topped with caramel sauce is fall in one bite. If you happen to have an overabundance of fall apples be sure to make the caramel sauce for dipping.
